I'm Gonna Repeat For Emphasis, Trump Puts Ketchup On His Steak.
-Written by Paul Gogliormella
Let's make one thing clear, if you're over the age of five, putting ketchup on steak should be a crime punishable with a lengthy sentence. I'll go as far as saying that if your condiment of choice is ketchup on ANYTHING except for fries, a cheese burger, or eggs then there is something wrong with you. Yes, that includes chicken nuggets, chicken fingers, hot dogs etc. Sorry that I'm not sorry, I'm not going to apologize, this is Trump's America and I don't have to be politically correct anymore.
Now listen, ketchup has a time and a place, but lets be honest with ourselves, it's the lowest form of a condiment we have. It's simple, basic, and theres millions of better options. Sort of makes sense why Trump must like it so much.
In Trump's most recent trip to the BLT Steakhouse in Trump Hotel in D.C, the Independent Journal Review interviewed his waiter who said"
“The President ordered a well-done steak. An aged New York strip. He ate it with catsup as he always does. The sides and appetizers on the table were shared. Three jumbo shrimp cocktails were delivered before the meal. At one point, the President looked at his watch and remarked ”They are filming 'Saturday Night Live' right now. Can't wait to see what they are gonna do to me this week.“ It was hard to serve him because he is so funny and relaxed, it makes you laugh.”
A lot of funny things in that statement.
FIRST OF ALL, Trump also orders his steaks well done. Can you believe such a thing? This guy has had so much money for so long. He has access to the most expensive and amazing steaks in the world, AND HE ORDERS THEM WELL DONE?! Anyone who knows ANYTHING about steaks knows that if you order a steak well done, you might as well just order a brick. TO TOP IT OFF it's an aged New York Strip steak, which according to the BLT Steakhouse menu, is a $54 steak, AND HE JUST RUINED IT. It's no wonder Trump uses ketchup on steaks; they probably become so dry and tasteless that he needs something to make it palatable.
In a New York Times interview with Trump's lifelong butler, the butler stated that, "He understands Mr. Trump’s sleeping patterns and how he likes his steak ("It would rock on the plate, it was so well done"), and how Mr. Trump insists — despite the hair salon on the premises — on doing his own hair."
That's coming from a man who has known Trump for decades. "It would rock on the plate, it was so well done," is a statement that would send shivers down Gordon Ramsey's spine.
Check out my boy Gordon's take on well done steaks.
Hey it's America, and you're entitled to like any kind of food you want, even if you're opinion is wrong.
