Paul's Picks:

Sour Patch Kids - Bryce Vine

This song just puts me in that SUMMER mood.  You know, the beach, the sun, nearly getting alcohol poisoning.  Just a real FEEL good type of song.

Boy Named Sue - Johnny Cash

After my trip to Nashville I was turned onto this CLASSIC by my friend Fresh, and I don't know how I didn't hear this song sooner.  It's silly, it's well written, and hey, I'm a sucker for anything that rhymes.

If It's Not You - Keljet

This is one of those songs that I heard a while ago, but has just recently made it back into my rotation.  Been into that ~indie electronic~ vibe recently, and this song pretty much exemplifies that genre for me.

Adam's Picks:

Unforgettable- French Montana, Swae Lee

This song is only good because of Swae. French has not gotten any better in however long its been since he started rapping. And this beat just makes you want to groove.

XO Tour Life- Lil Uzi Vert

The biggest rock star in hiphop (and debatably music overall) right now is putting out jam after jam. Fingers still crossed for a collab with Marilyn Manson.

For My People- Joey Bada$$

Joey is one of those rappers who I think will definitely serve as a voice for this generation. His new album is fire and is an excellent piece of social commentary about all the craziness going on.

Lupia's Picks:

Heatstroke - Calvin Harris ft. Young Thug, Pharrell & Ariana Grande

It's not getting the airplay that his other single (the also fantastic "Slide") is getting, but I have a feeling that'll change pretty soon.

DNA - Kendrick Lamar

This, in my opinion, the standout track on his new album DAMN., and with a music video just being released, it looks like he's preparing to push it as a single.

Dan Bilzerian - T-Pain ft. Lil Yachty

This is a song whose praises I've been singing for months:This song is so fun and I'm shocked it hasn't blown up, but I'm going to keep forcing people to listen to it until it does.

Vinny's Picks:

Temptation -Joey Badass

Since Joey reached his biggest commercial success with his 2016 single "Devastated," he's been experimenting with production that appeals to a wider audience than the usual hip hop heads.  "Temptation" finds Joey singing another catchy hook without abandoning his conscious roots.  This one's for the festival crowd.

God - Kendrick Lamar

On first look at this title, I thought this was gonna be a lyrically dense, super serious Kendrick track discussing religion.  I was relieved to be wrong.  This track is actually about self-esteem.  Kenny channels Beyonce's "I woke up like this!" energy when he sings "This what God feel like!"  The sentiment is: I feel so amazing about myself - if someone judges me or says something negatively about me, OH WELL, NOT MY PROBLEM.

Lookin Exotic - Future

Ok so Future definitely has a simple formula when it comes to making music. As a big fan, I acknowledge that this is one of his shortcomings as an artist. However, I also happen to love all of his formulaic songs, no matter how similar they sound to each other.  He just always has such a confident energy that I love to rap along with. "Lookin Exotic" isn't anything new, but it is fun to sing "I wanna take you out to Paris and buy you better clothes," as if that's something I could tell any girl ever.

Alec's Picks:

Boys of Summer Remix - DJ Sammy

Folks, Apple Music is a glorious app. Shouout Spotify too, but I use Apple Music and was at the gym (humble brag) looking for a workout playlist. I come upon Workout Dance/Upbeat. First song that comes on shuffle is this. It is not even May 1st, and I may or may not be 15 years late on this, but I'm declaring this the song of summer for 2017. Upbeat, incredible beat, and just gives you a good feeling when you listen to it. Play count is over 100 so far on this song and I found it 5 days ago. Certified JAM

Snapback - Old Dominion

Change of genres here people. I'm a very big country fan, especially as weather gets warmer. There is nothing better than having a cold beer, sitting on your porch or deck and jamming out to some country music. Grab your trucker hat, throw on a cut off flannel, buy a 30 of Bud Light and throw on this jam. It's a bit more of a pop-country song, but it gets the people going.

Despacito - Justin Bieber ft. Daddy Yankee & Luis Fonsi

Another thing people should know about me is that I'm a HUGE J-Biebs guy. The man just produces jam after jam and is connected with some of the best looking girls in the entertainment industry. Absolutely have to respect a guy like this. Bieber comes out on fire with this jam, signing some of the song in fluent Spanish and is probably having girls faint the first time they hear the song. Oh, and he added Daddy Yankee on a feature? Sign me up. Please give me a massive summer from The Biebs.
