If Noah Didn't Retire, Why Should You?

Greg Gianforte, the congressman who body-slammed a reporter a day before the election, also now believes people shouldn't retire because Noah didn't. Below is an actual quote from him.
"How old was Noah when he built the ark? 600,” he said. “He wasn’t like, cashing Social Security checks, he wasn’t hanging out, he was working. So, I think we have an obligation to work. The role we have in work may change over time, but the concept of retirement is not biblical.”
Do you guys realize how crazy this is? HE WANTS TO BASE SOCIETY OFF OF A MYTHOLOGICAL PERSON. That's like saying people shouldn't drive cars because Harry Potter rode a broomstick.
First off, someone that believes Noah's Ark is a 100% factual story should not hold public office or have any sort of power over people whatsoever. Like this guy really believes that a 600 year old man found every two of single animal in the world, built an entire wooden ark big enough to fit them all, and went on a little sailing trip with them all because god was pissed off.
AND BESIDES THAT, do you know how many fucked up things are in the Bible?! You can't run a modern society off of something that was written for people in the Bronze Age. IT DOESN'T WORK LIKE THAT.
I'll tell ya what, once we see someone live to 600, then we'll start to reconsider retirement, seem fair to you?
